In contrast to the self presentations of the earlier years it should now be more confusing and provocative: "Supermarket music" - on a festival with a lot of articians; moreover the connotation to the background music in supermarkets, and it's (in German) written in false, but "trendy" New Scribe.

It seemed to be important not to drown the music in a picture overkill - the songs should be essential. The visualization ought to support and underline music and mood, set a course and allow freedom for own thoughts. The criteria for the selection of pictures were associative (e. g. the agonized ear in Boschs "Garden of earthly delights")  and aesthetic ones, so that the paradoxical grace of certain parts fits to the fractals. Hard and fast parts should be underlined with quite frightening sections and staccati of pictures.

At first it was planned to explain and comment the medieval mysticism of Meister Eckhart, Heinrich Seuse and Hugo of St. Victor and to contrast this with our time, namely on two sides:  the loss of the derivation of human constructiveness from God's creation and the creation of mankind in the image of God should be shown, and the loss of individuality just under the dogma of individualization should be described through contrasting it to the personalization of God in mystic conceptions.

It's been practical impossible to implement these aims: on the one hand, mystics are not "slight fare" and would be distorted through abbreviation or a very citation; on the other hand, very long or complex sentences would detract from the music. The solution was a preferably significant citation at the beginning of every song, corresponding to the title of the program and to my own associations to the several pieces.
